GENERAL INFORMATION
Kiyoshi Hori is professor of industrial organization and small business studies at J.F.Oberlin University. He mainly lectures "industrial organization," "basic microeconomics" and "Small Business Economics." He also lectures "small business management" at Tokiwa University as part-time lecturer. In academic society, he is a director at Japan Economic Policy Association, and also a director at Japan Association for Small Business Studies.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Kiyoshi Hori was born in Osaka (26-06-1962). He was graduated from the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, Keio University (1999), and obtained a master degree by presenting a thesis (M.A., Business and Commerce, Keio University. 1987). While studying at Keio University, he participated in the one-semester program of the International Master of Science Student Exchange Committee (IMSEC,) Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands (from Sep. till Dec., 1989) as the first Japanese exchange student of Rotterdam School of Management. After coming back from Rotterdam, he was appointed an assistant professor of the Junior College, Tokiwa University (1990). After joining the Faculty of Economics, J.F. Oberlin Univesity, as an assistant professor (1994), and an associate professor (1996), he was appointed to a professorship (2003). He was a visiting scholar at the Rotterdam Institute for Modern Asian Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam (2000). He doubles as the Deputy Head of the University Library as well as university professor from 2006.
